Hi!
I'm Lucinda, and I'm spending this next semester in India. For the majority of it I'll be in Delhi (it's the really small red province in the North), but I'll also be going to the province of Kerala (dark green on the southern tip), as well as many other places, hopefully. So I'll use this space for general updates on what I'm doing and a place to post photos.
I'm studying in India through IES Delhi, and I'll be there from Jan. 4 to May 4. I'll be taking three classes through the IES center (Beginning Hindi, Cities of Delhi, and Indian Women in Fiction and Cinema) and two through the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University, which should be amazing. Being an English major, it's likely that the classes I end up taking through JNU will be literature classes - I'm especially interested in creative translation - but we'll see what's available and doesn't require too many papers.
So there you go! Hopefully I'll remember to keep up with this...
